"I have been a Newegg customer for over 30 years and have ordered thousands of dollars of equipment. I've NEVER had a bad experience! I have had missing items, dead motherboards and defective software, but customer service has always treated me with respect and courtesy. When my family members ask me where to buy some piece of computer equipment or software I always tell them Newegg. They sometimes don't listen to me and shop locally, but the worst experiences I have ever had have been in dealing with defective equipment or software at a local vendor. Never had a problem with Newegg. I just got off the phone with April, a Newegg customer service employee. She took care of my concern quickly and professionally. No problem. That's been my experience for over 30 years. By the way, I have been using Reseller Ratings for nearly that long to check out other online vendors."

Long time customer struggles
"I have used newegg for over 15 years. Yet I keep getting my account locked for not accepting their recommendation in address. I set my shipping and billing info correctly and they recommend I use a different city. Moments after placing the order it will cancel and lock my account. Only option is to call and wait. After waiting for customer service you can wait for their accounts division to unlock. Unfortunately in all my waiting I missed out on some sales. This is upsetting especially after a long history of purchases with the same information."

"I’m a long time, online shopper at Newegg...one who seldom encounters any problems with their website. Today, however, the site kept disconnecting during the online payment process. Customer Service (CS) to the rescue!I was fortunate to reach CS representative Reef Rodriquez and not only was he an absolute delight to work with, he also resolved the issue with my order in record time. Perhaps the only down side; CS is so GREAT that it almost makes me want to use them for all my future purchases! Just kidding...however, Newegg Customer Service does rate Number-1 in my book and thanks, Reef, for all you do in helping to secure that rating. "
Monitor Gift: PayPal Shipping Fix
"We ordered a great monitor for my mom as a gift. I changed the address to her address unaware that PayPal would change it back to my address. A chat and a few phone calls later, they tried to redirect the shipment and allowed me to reorder at the same price to the right address. NewEgg cam through for me, thanks!"

Newegg.com is worth a look before shopping elsewhere...
"I ran across Newegg on Ebay. Funny, yesterday as I was reviewing the product, the price jumped. Then, today it was back to yesterday's price. I wasn't alone when this happened, so we thought it was best I called Newegg directly to understand their business. Mercy A. Loaiza, a customer service rep, answered my call. Incredibly cordial and professional...with keen interpersonal skills. She explained Newegg's business and the inclusion of third-party sellers. She walked me through the Newegg site (it's a cross-functional method to seeing if the product comes from Newegg or a third party). Sounds simple, right? Well, sure, to some degree. The key here was understanding the third-party sell-through business. These third parties like Ebay, Amazon, etc., are not quality controlled by the site. Therefore, third parties can and have sold product that's refurbished as new. Not the site's fault; just a reality. The third party product was not covered by warranty either. If I'm spending money, I want to be sure I get what I paid for. Kudos to Mercy and her leadership skills. Her patience and kindness makes buying at Newegg reassuring. Thank you Newegg for having Mercy on board. Because of this experience, I'll be promoting Newegg to my friends as a buying option over other sites. Mercy's due for a promotion like a lead and the very least employee of the month for her role model work ethics."
